Any cold wet thing..

To call myself obssessed with the Twilight Series would be an understatement. When I tell a girlfriend who hasn't read the books to read them, this is my husbands next words "let me warn your husband first."
He loves me so that he went with me to the opening night of New Moon, and endured the craziness, which was more then even I expected! I was all pumped up to go at midnight this past Friday to join all the high school girls to purchase the DVD. But I got really sick, and didn't make it. Still wasn't up for a trip to Walmart the next day, so Jamie got up and went and got it for me!!!
He makes fun of me, but I love how he takes care of me in all areas...
This weekend was the perfect weekend for this movie to come out! Cold, wet.. perfect vampire watching weather....

There are mornings I actually hear my regular coffee company to talk to me! Today was one of those days. This morning God put this verse in my heart.

I am pretty withdrawn from this - I say alot and then being the selfish person I am, don't always show.... so today I will show through my actions!!

15 years ago this month, I met Jamie. 14 years ago on this day he asked me to marry him. There aren't many people who can put up with me! He knows all my little quirks, and still likes me!!! That right there is amazing!!!! He is my calm when I am storming, and my comfort when I am hurting. He is my best friend!

Snow Day!!! In Weatherford???

I have an incredible group of friends who are just as crazy obsessed as I am over Twilight, or shall I say EDWARD. When we get together I feel normal!!! We drink, we eat, we're merry, we play "games" that no one else would ever understand. I just hope the neighbors aren't peeking in our windows!!!!

Things I have learned so far in 2010....

a. I can stick to my new Years Resolution of - if I don't need it don't buy it - much easier when Jamie is working near home. Ebay is my friend on the lonely nights he is gone! Which has been 15 days of this 26th day of January so far!
b. God puts you in certain situations, just to show you He can pull you out of it and show you something greater!
c. Blaine is infatuated with Super Hero's and with the countdown to his 5 year birthday! I will never change his internal alarm clock.
d. Having my in laws across the street makes my life much easier - 99% of the time!
e. Emily is so full of compassion and empathy, that she still wants to be friends with a girl who isn't so nice to her because "when I don't play with her, she doesn't have anyone to play with" However, how to deal with the negativity she tells me with about this girl, I have yet to learn how to handle.
f. Gilbert is a girl!! W-O-W what a complex I've given her. All this time we thought we had a brother/sister combo in our cats! NOT!
g. Single mothering SUCKS!

Today - the female offspring and myself took off into the unknown.... ok well maybe we knew where we were going. Ft. Worth. Not sure what our plans were except that Emily was in control. She decided to go to the mall - not Chuckie Cheese, not the movies. THE MALL. What have I created? We ate lunch. We walked and looked. People watched and laughed. She had an alloted amount of money she could spend. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt what that would be. We went to every store in the Hulen mall looking for a certain pair of boots. In the process, she was narrowing down her choices of what she would get if we couldn't find these boots, Some sort of snapping shoes. We never found the boots but she did pick up some "stylish" shoes!! Where she gets her fetish for heels - who knows?? But I have a feeling, we have only begun to climb this mountain!!
We really enjoyed our day together and I am embracing every stage in her life, knowing all too well, in a few short years, she will be embarrassed being at the mall with her M-O-M! And we seen plenty of those groups today!!!!
