Went camping one last time before the weather starts to turn cooler. Emily and Blaine love the "beach". Lake Mineral Wells has really nice camping spots. It is really just a nice place. 20 minutes from home, and it is like you are in a different area totally. My kids love to camp and play in the sand and the water. My goal for next summer is a real beach vacation. But for now, us poor folk, will just take Mineral Wells!!!

I had no idea about the "beaches" here. Looks like the Gecks are gonna have to make a trek down to the po man's beach! And just why can't we camp in cooler weather? I think we're gonna have to arrange an October event!
